Vegetable Belt Slicer BCM-1650

The vegetable belt cutter BCM-1650 is designed for small- and medium-sized vegetable processing companies. This machine is well suited for almost all kinds of vegetables, fruits, and salads and has a capacity of up to 1000 kg/h. The BCM-1650 delivers excellent cutting results due to its sophisticated concept of ‘rotating knife transition’ with small SS rollers guiding the product to the knife, along with extremely sharp knives. Cutting sizes and other options can easily be adjusted on the machine’s touch screen. The BCM-1650 can also be seamlessly integrated into a vegetable processing line for cutting, washing, and drying vegetables.

Cutting Possibilities for Vegetables, Fruits, and Herbs

Ease of Use

All programs and functions on the BCM-1650 can be easily controlled through the included color touch screen. The display supports eleven different languages: Arabic, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Korean, Polish, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish. Cutting sizes are adjustable with a simple press on the touch screen, and the cutting discs can be easily interchanged due to their convenient size and weight.

Hygienic Design / Easy to Clean

All doors can be easily opened, and all belts are removable for easy cleaning. The machine’s smooth surface and lack of ‘dirt angles’ facilitate quick, thorough, and hygienic cleaning. The touch screen includes a cleaning program that allows the belts to run with an open door and screen, simplifying the cleaning process without the need to remove the belts.

Sustainability

The machine is made entirely of sustainable stainless steel, and all technical components are from renowned brands. Technical components are protected from water as they are inside the machine. And the touchscreen is IP-67 water resistant.

Safety

The vegetable belt slicer BCM-1650 incorporates three water-resistant (IP-67) sensors that prevent users from reaching the knife disc while the machine is operating, ensuring user safety. The sensors are located on the door of the cutting chamber, under the cutting chamber (a safety bar), and on the cover over the cutting belts. If a sensor is deactivated, the machine will immediately stop (brake motor), and the touch screen will graphically indicate which sensor was deactivated.

FAQ

The BCM-1650 is already employed for a wide range of products beyond vegetables, fruits, and herbs, and our team of experts can evaluate the potential for cutting your specific product. If it proves feasible, you are welcome to visit our demonstration facility, where we can conduct the testing in person. Alternatively, you have the option to send us the product, and we will perform the testing while coordinating a video call with you. If preferred, we can also record a video demonstration for your convenience.

We understand that selecting the right knives and options can be a challenging task given the multitude of choices available. To assist you in making the best decision for your specific needs, we offer several resources:

When deciding between the BCM-1650 and BCM-2450, the primary consideration is the infeed belt length. The BCM-2450 features an 80 cm longer infeed belt, allowing space for up to 4 operators to load products onto the belt. In contrast, the BCM-1650 accommodates 2 operators. Your choice should align with how many operators you need to efficiently feed the belt.

  • Product Preparation: Evaluate the level of product preparation required before placing items on the cutting belt. Products that need extensive preparation, such as stem removal or core extraction, may benefit from additional operators to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Hourly Capacity: Assess your desired hourly cutting capacity. If you aim to maximize the machine's full 1000 kg/h capacity, it's likely that you will require more operators to keep the belt supplied with products.

Ultimately, the choice between the BCM-1650 and BCM-2450 hinges on your workforce, product preparation requirements, and production goals. Evaluate these factors to determine which model best suits your vegetable processing needs. If you need further assistance or have specific questions, please feel free to contact us for personalized guidance and recommendations.

Setting the cutting size on the BCM-1650 is effortless with its standard touchscreen interface. Simply navigate the touchscreen to select the specific knife you're using, followed by the desired cutting size. All cutting sizes come preprogrammed, eliminating the need for complex setup procedures. This user-friendly approach streamlines the process, making it incredibly straightforward for operators.

The BCM-1650 offers versatile cutting options, capable of achieving one-dimensional and two-dimensional cuts such as squares or chunks. However, it cannot cut three-dimensionally (cubes). For three-dimensional dicing, we recommend our specialized 3DD dicing machine.
